ImmunoCAP® is a blood test for allergy. The test detects IgE antibodies in blood against the allergens you are allergic to. Presence of IgE antibodies in the blood is called sensitization. Experienced lab technicians in a hospital laboratory perform the test.
The test is not available in drugstores or at the chemists'. The only way to get tested is by going to your doctor. He/she will draw blood and he will send the blood into a laboratory. The result will come back to the doctor, who will discuss this with you.
